Billy Madison
Comedy90 min
Adam Sandler is Billy Madison, the 27-year-old son of a wealthy hotel owner who learns he’ll only inherit the family business if he goes back to school and passes every grade from first through twelfth, two weeks at a time. Darren McGavin’s Bryan Madison turns the stunt into a test of whether his immature heir can handle responsibility, while Bridgette Wilson-Sampras and Bradley Whitford circle the family empire from opposite sides. The story follows Billy from elementary classrooms to high school hallways, with the setup built around his age, his privilege, and the absurdity of starting over at the bottom.
