No Small Affair

The story

A shy teenage photographer becomes fixated on an older aspiring singer after snapping her picture, then talks his way into her orbit and starts chasing a romance she does not take seriously. What begins as a crush turns into a tangle of mixed signals, bruised pride, and schemes to seem older and more impressive than he is. As he pushes further into her nightlife world, the age gap, his inexperience, and the attention she draws from others keep upsetting the fantasy he has built. Jon Cryer and Demi Moore anchor a story about first love colliding with embarrassment, jealousy, and the hard fact that wanting something does not make you ready for it.
