The Man Without a Face
Drama115 min
Teenager Chuck is desperate to pass the entrance exam for his late father’s alma mater, and with little help from home, he seeks out Justin McLeod, a former teacher who has lived in seclusion since a car crash left his face disfigured. Mel Gibson is McLeod, marked as much by old accusations and town gossip as by his injuries, while Nick Stahl’s Chuck approaches him first for tutoring and then for something closer to trust. As the two spend more time together, their bond draws scrutiny in a community already primed to see McLeod as a threat.
