Scent of a Woman
Drama157 min
Short on cash and under pressure at his prep school, student Charlie Simms takes a Thanksgiving job looking after a blind, retired Army officer with a vicious tongue and plans of his own. Chris O'Donnell's Charlie expects easy money; instead he's pulled into a tense holiday weekend with Al Pacino's Frank Slade, a former lieutenant colonel who barrels from family conflict into a sudden trip to New York City. As Charlie faces trouble back at school, the uneasy pairing becomes a confrontation between class, pride, and whether either man is willing to change course.
