Two teenage girls who decide the world is spoiled answer it with sabotage. Ivana Karbanová and Jitka Cerhová are the two Maries, drifting through 1960s Czechoslovakia as they toy with older men, raid banquets, cut up food and clothes, and turn everyday spaces into prank scenes. Their mischief keeps escalating, but the film never settles into ordinary realism: scenes break into collage, slapstick, and abrupt sound gags as the Maries treat appetite, manners, and destruction like a game.
