Bruce Dern is an aging Montana father convinced a junk-mail sweepstakes has made him a millionaire. Will Forte’s estranged son gives in and drives him to Nebraska to claim it, turning the trip into a detour through old family resentments, half-forgotten histories, and a hometown that hasn’t stopped keeping score. June Squibb is part of the family crossfire as the drive pulls more relatives and old acquaintances into view.
