Bless Their Little Hearts

Drama80 min

Nate Hardman is Charlie Banks, a husband and father in Watts whose long unemployment has worn down both his pride and his place at home. As he moves through odd attempts to make money, including selling catfish, Charlie treats his joblessness like a test he can’t quite pass. Meanwhile, Kaycee Moore’s Andais keeps the household going with a steadiness that throws his frustration into sharper relief. When Charlie starts looking for escape outside the marriage, the strain on their family comes into focus against the daily pressures of an impoverished Los Angeles neighborhood.
