Jessica Biel is Julia Denning, a widowed nurse who dismisses the story as local folklore until her son David is taken in the night. What follows begins as a desperate search through dark roads, woods, and a community already worn down by loss, with Jodelle Ferland among the young faces caught up in the town’s disappearances. The film shifts between kidnapping case, small-town mystery, and horror story as Julia tries to find out what — or who — is taking the children.
