An annual fishing trip goes off the rails when two devoted anglers lose their boat and stumble into bigger trouble. Danny Glover is Gus, hoping for a quiet getaway with Joe Pesci’s Joe, but the stolen boat turns their vacation into a string of accidents, arguments, and run-ins well beyond the dock. Rosanna Arquette and Lynn Whitfield turn up around the chaos, with Willie Nelson and Nick Brimble in the supporting cast. Built around the odd-couple pairing of Glover and Pesci, the story keeps circling back to two friends whose simple plan to spend a few days on the water refuses to stay simple.
