A Midsummer Night's Dream
ComedyFantasyRomance116 min
Hermia loves Lysander, but city law is pushing her toward Demetrius, sending four mismatched lovers into the woods, where fairy quarrels turn romantic confusion into chaos. Helena follows after Demetrius, Demetrius pursues Hermia, and the night keeps rearranging every bond. Michelle Pfeiffer's Titania and Rupert Everett's Oberon toy with the humans as Puck interferes, while Bottom (Kevin Kline) and a troupe of amateur players wander into the same moonlit thicket. Shakespeare's tangled comedy of enchantment, jealousy, and mistaken affection unfolds between the mortal couples and the feuding rulers of the forest.
