Angelina Jolie is Lanie Kerrigan, a polished Seattle TV reporter whose carefully managed life is shaken after a homeless street seer (Tony Shalhoub) tells her she has only days left to live. When his other predictions start coming true, Lanie begins rethinking the job, boyfriend, and image she once treated as proof that everything was in place. At the station, she’s also forced into close quarters with a cameraman she’s spent plenty of time clashing with, played by Edward Burns, as the countdown pushes her toward choices she’s long avoided.
