Keanu Reeves is Nelson, a San Francisco ad executive whose life runs on work until a chance encounter at the DMV puts him in Sara’s orbit. Charlize Theron’s Sara is impulsive, disarming, and unlike anyone else in his carefully ordered world; after Nelson causes her to miss her driving test, she tracks him down and pulls him into an unusual arrangement for the month of November. As he moves into her home and tries to keep pace with her rules, the story follows two mismatched people as routine gives way to intimacy, friction, and a different sense of what matters.
