A Dog's Purpose
ComedyDramaFamilyFantasy100 min
Told from a dog’s point of view, the film follows one loyal companion as he is reborn into several lives and homes, trying to understand why he keeps coming back and what his purpose might be. Josh Gad voices the dog through each new incarnation, carrying the story from playful beginnings to later returns with different families. As the dog moves from owner to owner, the people around him grow up, grow older, and change course, with Dennis Quaid among the humans connected to that long thread of companionship. Reincarnation is the hook, but the story stays focused on the bond between dog and owner.
