The Hundred-Foot Journey
ComedyDrama122 min
When an Indian family settles in a small French village and opens a restaurant directly across from a Michelin-starred institution, dinner service quickly turns into a neighborhood rivalry. Om Puri is the father determined to build a new life on his own terms, while Helen Mirren’s exacting French restaurateur guards her standards — and her turf — with equal intensity. At the center is the family’s gifted young cook, drawn to the possibilities on both sides of the street as spice, tradition, and classical technique collide. Food is the battleground here, but so are pride, ambition, and the question of where home begins to shift.
