A Prayer Before Dawn
ActionAdventureCrimeDrama116 min
Joe Cole is Billy Moore, an English boxer incarcerated in Thailand and sent to one of the country’s most notorious prisons. Cut off by language and swallowed by a prison economy of drugs, gangs, and constant violence, Billy looks for any way to survive. When prison officials open Muay Thai tournaments to inmates, the ring becomes his clearest route toward freedom. Vithaya Pansringarm appears in the prison world around him in a film shot in an actual Thai prison with many former inmates in the cast.
