The Thing from Another World
DramaHorrorSci-Fi87 min
After a flying saucer crashes near a remote Arctic outpost, scientists and U.S. Air Force officers bring its frozen occupant back to base and discover the visitor isn’t dead. Kenneth Tobey and Margaret Sheridan are among the group cut off in the ice, while James Arness plays the towering alien now stalking the station. Shot in black and white, the film keeps the action boxed inside snowbound rooms and narrow corridors, with military pragmatism colliding against scientific curiosity as the outpost tries to contain something it barely understands.
