Journey to the Center of the Earth
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasySci-Fi93 min
While searching in Iceland for clues about his missing brother, scientist Trevor Anderson stumbles into a hidden world beneath the earth with his nephew and their guide. Brendan Fraser is Trevor, a volcanologist whose theories have already pushed him to the fringe; Sean (Josh Hutcherson) and Icelandic guide Hannah (Anita Briem) join him as the trio moves through collapsing caves, underground seas, and prehistoric creatures. What begins as an expedition tied to a family mystery turns into a scramble to stay ahead of volcanic upheaval and find a route back to the surface.
