A carefree playboy in Mexico wakes up to an infant left at his door and a note naming him as the father. With no idea how to care for a baby, he rushes to Los Angeles to track down the girl's mother and hand her back. Instead, the search leaves him in a new city with a child who depends on him, and the life he has avoided starts to take shape around diapers, rent, and responsibility. As years pass, Valentin has to figure out how to raise his daughter while keeping their fragile world together. Eugenio Derbez anchors a story about sudden parenthood, absent partners, and the bond that grows out of improvising a family.
