Camp X-Ray
DramaWar117 min
Looking for a way out of her small-town life, a young woman joins the military and is sent not to combat but to Guantanamo Bay. Kristen Stewart is the new guard, thrown into a rigid routine of surveillance, hostility, and pressure from the men around her. Across the cell block, Payman Maadi’s detainee becomes the center of an uneasy, unexpected connection. As their conversations continue, the film stays close to the daily mechanics of the prison camp — the chain of command, the suspicion on both sides, and the moral confusion of a job defined by distance and control.
