Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk

DocumentaryDramaWar113 min

Through a series of video calls, Iranian filmmaker Sepideh Farsi speaks with Fatima Hassouna, a young Palestinian photojournalist confined in Gaza during the current regional conflict. Hassouna describes the conditions around her and the pressures of daily life, while Farsi remains on the other side of the connection, listening, asking questions, and shaping the film from those remote exchanges. Their conversations keep the focus on one woman’s account of work, survival, and communication under bombardment, using the immediacy of the screen to place her words and witness at the center.
