Cover-Up

Documentary117 min

Seymour Hersh is the reporter at the center of this documentary, tracing a career spent uncovering stories powerful institutions tried to keep buried. From his reporting on the My Lai massacre during the Vietnam War to Abu Ghraib in Iraq, the film follows Hersh’s investigations into U.S. military abuse and the systems that protect it. Drawing on access to his notes alongside primary documents and archival footage, Cover-Up maps how Hersh worked, what he pursued, and how his reporting collided with the military and intelligence establishment.
