In late-1990s suburbia, Owen is a lonely teenager whose classmate introduces him to a strange late-night TV show that seems to reveal a supernatural world beneath their own. Justice Smith is Owen, and the classmate who shares his fixation on the series is embodied by Jack Haven. What starts as an escape through sleepovers and after-dark viewing grows increasingly disorienting as the show’s mythology begins to feel closer than everyday life. In the pale glow of the TV, Owen’s sense of memory, identity, and even the boundaries of his own body starts to come apart.
