A Different Man
ComedyDramaThriller112 min
Edward is an aspiring actor with neurofibromatosis who seizes on an experimental procedure that radically changes his face, hoping a new appearance will mean a new life. Sebastian Stan’s Edward starts to imagine fresh possibilities as a playwright living next door enters his orbit, with Renate Reinsve as the neighbor who draws him toward a different future. But the version of himself he’s trying to construct begins to slip when Oswald (Adam Pearson), a charismatic stranger, arrives and throws Edward’s ideas about identity, performance, and recognition into question.
