The Brothers Grimm

ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasyHorrorMysteryThriller118 min

In early 19th-century, French-occupied Germany, brothers Jake and Will Grimm make their living as traveling frauds, moving from village to village with staged exorcisms and made-up monsters. Matt Damon's Jake is the showman of the pair, while Heath Ledger's Will is the more hesitant partner behind the act. Their routine falls apart when the brothers run into an actual curse in a haunted forest, where the folklore they've been exploiting starts taking physical form. Terry Gilliam reimagines the Grimms as bickering con artists dropped into a world of bewitched woods, supernatural creatures, and old-story menace.
