George of the Jungle
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyRomance93 min
Raised by gorillas after surviving a plane crash as a baby, Brendan Fraser is George, a vine-swinging jungle guardian whose strength is matched by his habit of smashing into trees. His world runs on slapstick and cartoon logic, with animal sidekicks including Ape, Tookie the toucan, and Shep, an elephant who behaves like a dog. When poachers threaten the jungle and a visiting heiress (Leslie Mann) upends George’s routine, he stumbles into a rescue mission that collides with hunters, city people, and the woman’s smug fiancé.
