For 20 years, Bruno and Malik have organized their lives around autistic children and teens whom other institutions refuse. With Vincent Cassel and Reda Kateb at the center, the film follows the heads of two separate nonprofits working outside the formal system, taking on severe cases and building an unusual partnership between their organizations. At the same time, they train young people from underprivileged neighborhoods as caregivers, turning day-to-day crisis management into a network of improvised support for families, staff, and the children in their care.
