Over the Top
ActionAdventureDrama94 min
Long-haul truck driver Lincoln Hawk sets out to reconnect with the young son he barely knows, picking Michael up for a cross-country trip after years apart. The road gives them time to test each other, but every stop reminds Lincoln how much mistrust and hurt stands between them. At the same time, he is chasing prize money on the arm-wrestling circuit, hoping a championship can help him build a future with his boy. As father and son edge toward a bond, a custody fight and pressure from Michael’s wealthy family threaten to pull them apart again. Sylvester Stallone leads a story that ties a sports underdog climb to a strained father-son reunion.
