When a machine that lets therapists enter and record dreams is stolen, research psychologist Dr. Atsuko Chiba and her dream-world counterpart, Paprika, scramble to contain the fallout before nightmares spill into everyday life. A detective pulled into the case follows them through a space where dream logic, technology, and memory start to blur together. Megumi Hayashibara and Tōru Furuya are among the voices in Satoshi Kon’s anime, which turns the search for the missing device into a mystery unfolding across laboratories, sleep, and the unstable line between imagination and waking reality.
