Tank Girl
ActionAdventureComedyFantasySci-Fi104 min
In 2033, after a comet throws Earth’s rain cycle into chaos, the planet is mostly desert and the water supply belongs to the tyrannical Water & Power corporation. Lori Petty is Tank Girl, an outlaw who refuses to submit to Kesslee’s rule and ends up on the run after a violent clash with the company. Alongside Naomi Watts’s Jet Girl, she joins forces with the mysterious Rippers in a rebellion against the system controlling what’s left of the world. The film throws post-apocalyptic wasteland imagery, scrap-metal vehicles, and comic-book absurdity into the same dust-choked fight.
