Phenomenon
DramaFantasyRomanceSci-Fi123 min
On his birthday in a small California town, an ordinary mechanic named George is struck by a strange light and wakes up changed. Suddenly he absorbs information at a dizzying pace, solves problems no one around him can follow, and finds he can move objects with his mind. As his intelligence and powers grow, so do the suspicions around him: friends are unsettled, government interest closes in, and the woman he hopes to know better keeps her distance from what she cannot explain. John Travolta and Kyra Sedgwick ground the story as George’s gift turns his quiet life into a public mystery he may not be able to control.
