Gary and Wyatt, two high school outsiders, use a homemade computer experiment to create Lisa, a beautiful woman who steps off the screen and into their lives. Anthony Michael Hall's Gary and Ilan Mitchell-Smith's Wyatt suddenly have someone who can boost their confidence, scramble their social lives, and push them into situations they've spent years trying to avoid. Kelly LeBrock is Lisa, an impossible creation who turns adolescent wish fulfillment into a string of escalating disasters. Written and directed by John Hughes, the film mixes teen humiliation, fantasy, and mad-science chaos with a distinctly 1980s high school streak.
