100 Men
Documentary95 min
Over four decades, filmmaker Paul Oremland recorded the romantic and sexual encounters that shaped his life, preserving detailed memories of roughly one hundred men. Revisiting those stories, Oremland threads together a personal portrait and a record of how attitudes toward homosexuality shifted around him over the years. The film follows his recollections and his efforts to track down some of the men he remembers, building its account from candid memories, missed connections, and the names and faces that stayed with him.
