Interview with the Vampire

DramaFantasyHorror123 min

In late-20th-century San Francisco, a weary vampire sits for an interview and recounts the two centuries that turned him into a creature of appetite and regret. Brad Pitt is Louis, a Louisiana plantation owner transformed in 1791 by the seductive, ruthless Lestat, then bound to him through shifting love, resentment, and survival. Their long passage through New Orleans and Paris changes again with Claudia (Kirsten Dunst), a child vampire whose presence forms a tense, unnatural family. Neil Jordan’s adaptation keeps the story framed as confession, with bloodlust, loneliness, and memory braided into Louis’ account.
