Johnny 5 heads to the city to help Ben Jahrvi get a toy business off the ground, but the cheerful robot’s innocence soon draws the attention of criminals who see him as the perfect tool for a robbery. Tim Blaney returns as the voice of Johnny 5, while Fisher Stevens is Ben, the inventor trying to turn a small idea into a company. As Johnny takes in urban life with his usual enthusiasm, the story mixes fish-out-of-water comedy, gadget chaos, and a crime plot that pulls him far beyond the workshop.
