Ghost Hunting
Documentary94 min
In an empty room, former Palestinian detainees rebuild the Israeli interrogation center where they were once held, turning construction into an act of memory. Among them, Ramzi Maqdisi and Mohammed Khattab reenact cells, questioning rooms, and the routines of captivity, using role play to confront what happened there. The film stays close to the work of reconstruction — measuring walls, assigning parts, reliving gestures — as private memories become shared scenes. What emerges is both a physical replica and a record of humiliation, trauma, and the uneasy process of naming them.
