Hillbilly Elegy
Drama117 min
An urgent phone call pulls Yale Law student J.D. Vance back to his Ohio hometown, where memories of his 1990s childhood collide with the future he has been building. Gabriel Basso is J.D., revisiting three generations of family history and a fraught bond with his single mother. Amy Adams and Glenn Close are central figures in the family orbit that still shapes him, as Ron Howard’s film moves between small-town life, home-front upheaval, and the pressure of deciding who he wants to become.
