Saturday Night
ComedyDramaMusical109 min
With 11:30 fast approaching on October 11, 1975, Gabriel LaBelle is Lorne Michaels, scrambling to get a brand-new live sketch show on the air. Saturday Night tracks the 90 minutes before the first broadcast of Saturday Night Live, as young comics, writers, crew members, and executives crowd the studio and every setback threatens the premiere. Rachel Sennott and Cory Michael Smith are part of the packed ensemble, which turns a landmark TV debut into a backstage rush of arguments, nerves, technical problems, and last-second changes.
