Never Back Down
ActionAdventureDrama115 min
Sean Faris is Jake, a teenager still angry over his father’s death when he lands at a new high school in Orlando and gets pulled into its underground MMA scene. After Ryan (Cam Gigandet), the face of a local fight club, singles him out and humiliates him in front of his classmates, Jake looks for a way to hit back without losing control completely. Under the guidance of a tough, disciplined trainer played by Djimon Hounsou, he starts learning the mechanics of fighting along with the restraint that comes with it, even as a rematch with Ryan keeps closing in.
