Plan 9 from Outer Space

HorrorSci-Fi79 min

After an old California man buries his wife and then dies himself, a pair of aliens use an electric device to bring both bodies back from the grave, setting off a chain of attacks tied to their “Plan 9” for Earth. As flying saucers appear over Hollywood and Washington, a commercial pilot, police officers, and military figures try to understand what’s happening around a foggy cemetery. Gregory Walcott and Mona McKinnon are among the humans pulled into the chaos, with Bela Lugosi appearing in the film’s graveyard menace. Edward D. Wood Jr. directs this black-and-white mix of zombies, UFOs, and doomsday talk.
