Tremors
ActionAdventureComedyHorrorSci-Fi96 min
Handymen Val McKee and Earl Bassett are about to leave the desert outpost of Perfection, Nevada, when a string of sudden deaths suggests something huge is moving beneath the ground. Kevin Bacon is the restless Val, paired with Fred Ward’s deadpan Earl as the two piece together what’s hunting the town. A local seismologist (Finn Carter) starts picking up unnatural readings, while the residents — including an armed married couple played by Reba McEntire and Michael Gross — scramble for high ground. What follows turns the empty landscape, dirt roads, and open desert into a trap.
