Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasyMusical115 min
Charlie Bucket, a kind boy from a poor family, finds a golden ticket that gets him inside the world’s most secretive chocolate factory. Freddie Highmore is Charlie, joining four other children on a guided tour led by Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka, an eccentric candy maker who has kept his gates closed to outsiders for years. Directed by Tim Burton, the film turns Wonka’s factory into a maze of edible inventions, strange rules, and oversized sweets as Charlie moves through a place he has only ever imagined from the street outside.
