The Green Hornet
ActionAdventureComedyCrime119 min
Britt Reid is the pampered heir to a Los Angeles newspaper empire, more interested in parties than purpose until his father’s death pushes him toward an unlikely second act. Seth Rogen’s Britt teams with Kato, the company’s resourceful mechanic and martial-arts expert, with Jay Chou bringing the quiet competence Britt lacks. Posing as criminals while operating as masked vigilantes, the pair use custom weapons, a tricked-out car, and improvised schemes to go after the city’s underworld. Their target is Chudnofsky, a rising crime boss, with Christoph Waltz turning him into a vain and dangerous antagonist.
