Office drudge Wesley Gibson is stuck in a dead-end life until Fox (Angelina Jolie) pulls him into the Fraternity, a secret order of assassins that claims his murdered father was one of their own. James McAvoy is Wesley, a panic-stricken nobody suddenly pushed through brutal training by the Fraternity’s leader, Sloan, with Morgan Freeman giving the role a cool, controlled authority. As Wesley learns to use abilities he never knew he had, the promise of revenge and belonging starts to clash with growing doubts about the organization that remade him.
