Girl on the Bridge
ComedyDramaRomance90 min
On a Paris bridge, Adèle is ready to throw herself into the Seine when a stranger interrupts her: Gabor, a knife thrower looking for a new assistant — and target — for his act. Vanessa Paradis is Adèle, a drifting young woman with nowhere else to go; Daniel Auteuil’s Gabor pulls her into a precarious partnership that carries them from France toward Mediterranean stops on the performance circuit. Shot in black and white, the film follows their uneasy closeness as luck, danger, and attraction become tangled in a stage act built on split-second trust.
