Dumplin'
ComedyDrama110 min
In small-town Texas, Willowdean “Dumplin’” Dickson signs up for the local beauty pageant to push back against the rules about who gets to measure up. Danielle Macdonald is Willowdean, a teenager whose choice puts her in direct conflict with Jennifer Aniston’s Rosie, an ex-beauty queen who now runs the contest. With her best friend Ellen close by, and the town fixed on every step, Willowdean’s entry turns a familiar hometown ritual into a public challenge to body standards, popularity, and the expectations that have followed her for years.
