Mr. Church
ComedyDrama104 min
After a mother facing breast cancer hires a cook to help for what should be six months, the arrangement quietly grows into a 15-year place in the family’s life. Eddie Murphy is Henry Joseph Church, a private, exacting man whose meals and routines become part of the household. Through young Charlotte’s eyes, Britt Robertson charts the girl’s bond with Mr. Church as it changes over the years, while Natascha McElhone brings warmth and strain to Charlotte’s mother, Marie.
