Gifted

ComedyDrama101 min

Frank Adler is trying to give his niece Mary an ordinary childhood in a small Florida beach town, even though the seven-year-old is a math prodigy. Chris Evans's Frank wants school, routine, and a life outside equations, but Mary's gift draws the attention of his mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan), who has very different plans for the girl. McKenna Grace gives Mary a sharp, stubborn presence, while Jenny Slate's teacher and Octavia Spencer's neighbor become part of the circle around Frank as a family dispute heads to court.
