Breakfast at Tiffany's

ComedyDramaRomance115 min

Holly Golightly drifts through Manhattan’s café society, living on charm, gifts, and the hope of marrying a Brazilian millionaire. Audrey Hepburn is Holly, all polish and evasiveness, while George Peppard’s Paul Varjak arrives as the new neighbor, an aspiring writer whose own arrangement with an older woman mirrors her precarious life. As their friendship deepens, Holly’s carefully managed world starts to wobble, with her past pressing in on the future she’s trying to invent. The film also contains a yellowface performance by Mickey Rooney in a supporting role.
