How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
ComedyMusicalRomance121 min
J. Pierpont Finch (Robert Morse) is a sharp young window washer who finds a guide to ruthless corporate advancement and uses it as a step-by-step plan for breaking into the World Wide Wicket Company. Starting in the mail room, Finch treats office life like a game of strategy, angling for promotions as songs and comic set pieces turn boardrooms, secretaries, and executives into part of the joke. Michele Lee and Rudy Vallee are among the faces in Finch’s orbit as the film sends up ambition, romance, and polished 1960s business culture.
