Goldie Hawn is Joanna Stayton, a wealthy heiress who hires carpenter Dean Proffitt to build a closet on her yacht, then refuses to pay him. After Joanna falls overboard off the Oregon coast and wakes up with amnesia, Kurt Russell’s Dean seizes the chance for payback by convincing her she’s his wife and bringing her into his crowded home with four sons. What starts as a revenge scheme turns Joanna’s polished, insulated world upside down, trading a luxury yacht for construction jobs, chores, and a family that doesn’t know what to make of her.
